The mission of the Administration Division is to handle the day to day administrative duties for the operation of the Sheriff’s Office. The Administrative Division acts as the main support section for all other divisions & sections within the Sheriff’s office. At some point each day, every action of all other divisions or sections have to receive support from the Administrative Division. 
The Administration Division provides support to all of the other divisions of the Sheriff’s Office as well as the Stephens County Court System and the Stephens County School System. The Administration Division includes the following functions/offices:

The Sheriff is an elected official and is responsible for the administration and operation of all services within the agency — planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities of four divisions: The Administration Division, the Uniform Patrol Division, the Jail Division and the Criminal Investigations Division.

The Sheriff also performs the Public Information Officer function which includes responding to media inquiries, formulating media statements and providing for the development and dissemination of information via print publications, television, radio, and website media.
